The presentation will describe the Needs and Challenges foreseen in applying printed electronics technologies in next generation industrial telecommunication products.
It will be presented new value chain creation for products having Printed Intelligence Inside - design, development, manufacturing, testing - and maybe combined with 3D-printing and challenging substrates with as an hybrid design. There is also presented a big picture, how these advanced manufacturing technologies (Printed Electronics and AM) are connected to Digital Transformation theme.

Speaker Biography (Veikko Lukkari)

Mr. Veikko Lukkari has extensive experience from industrial enterprise manufacturing technologies at Nokia , a large telecommunications company. Current role is to work as an Technology Manager, Emerging Technologies at Mobile Network Business group at Finland (Oulu). Main development focus areas for him are currently future manufacturing technologies including Printed Electronics, Additive Manufacturing and 3D-MID technology. He has been responsible for global final assembly & packaging manufacturing technology development. He has contributed to development and maintain of multi-site collaboration practices. Graduated in machine automation (B.Sc) in University of Applied Sience of Kajaani.
