Speaker Biography (Tobun Dorbin Ng)

Dr. Dorbin Ng is a researcher in the Department of Systems Engineering & Engineering Management at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. He is also a Project Manager in two research projects: Hospital Risk Management and Food Safety and Quality Management. He was a Systems Scientist in School of Computer Science at Carnegie Mellon University from 1999 to 2006. He earned the PhD, MS and BS degrees in management information systems from the University of Arizona in 2000, 1993 and 1990, respectively. His multi-disciplinary research interests include RFID traceability, multimedia data mining, social network analysis and semantic interoperability.
