Center for the Advancement of Printed Electronics

Profile
The Center for the Advancement of Printed Electronics (CAPE) was formed to meet the multidisciplinary challenges of printed electronics. A current team of 13 researchers from 7 different engineering and science disciplines is working together on research funded through federal agencies and industry partners.
What distinguishes CAPE from other academic institutions in the US, is its unique facilities and focus on printing as a low cost means for manufacturing electronic devices. The emphasis is strictly focused on technologies that can be used on press (sheet or web). The extensive facilities for printing and testing within CAPE provide the means to accelerate the commercialization of relevant technologies.
