Nidec ASI New Project in Northern Ireland

Nidec ASI, part of the Energy & Infrastructure Division of the Nidec Group, continues to grow in Europe, this time providing Battery Energy Storage System solutions for a major project in Northern Ireland, UK. This plant meets new global environmental and energy needs and the growing demand for renewable energy sources which, thanks to energy storage solutions, can become even more widespread, thus contributing to, and accelerating, the energy transition from fossil fuels to solar, wind and hydro power.

Mango Power

Mango Power focus on developing home power supply solutions, portable power devices, and further accessories. Their mission is to bring smart green energy products into every home and help form a zero carbon emission future. They launched their first product, the Mango Power Union, in 2021, which features a detachable design to merge home and portable power solutions. This acts as a portable power station (PPS). A PPS is a rechargeable battery that is large enough to provide backup power to your home, appliances, or for outdoor activities. These are typically larger than power banks but of lesser capacity to the batteries one would find in a purely residential setting. Their PPS product uses LFP cathodes and claims to be electric vehicle (EV) class.

BMZ Group are a German manufacturer of Li-ion batteries for various segements, including mobility, stationary energy storage, power tools and medical equipment.
