Corvus Energy storage system for five new Fjord1 ferries

Corvus Energy has been selected by Norwegian Electric Systems to supply lithium ion battery-based energy storage systems for five new all-electric ferries being built by Havyard for Norwegian ferry operator Fjord1.

Contract for new Norwegian all-electric, battery powered ferry

Corvus Energy has been chosen by Norwegian Electric System to supply a lithium ion based energy storage system for a new all-electric ferry being built by Fjellstrand for Norwegian ferry operator Fjord1. Corvus' Orca Energy ESS solution will supply electrical power to the ferry's NES all-electric power and propulsion system.

Hybrid ferries for the River Thames

The ferries shall be operating the link between Woolwich and North Woolwich across the River Thames. The Woolwich Ferry has been operating since 1889 and carries around 20 000 vehicles and 2.6 million passengers a year across the River Thames.

Havyard to build hybrid battery Arctic PSV

Havyard has signed a contract for the construction of a Havyard 833 WE ICE platform supply vessel with Fafnir Offshore HF.
