The Smart Systems Campus in Chemnitz represents a dynamic network of microsystems technology expertise. The Technology Park, with its generous dimensions on a site measuring almost 4.5 hectares, provides renowned scientific and technical centres with an entrepreneurial spirit and business acumen together with an economic boost at a location where everything is on the spot.
The city of Chemnitz meets all the conditions for developing a microsystems technology specialist centre of expertise. The region is one of the most important sector clusters in Germany due to the number of companies already established in this sector. The cooperation and intensive exchange of knowledge with the Silicon Saxony e.V. organisation permits interdisciplinary approaches to joint projects.
