Profile
Teslin® sheet, produced by PPG Industries, is a silica-filled porous substrate used in global e-passport inlays, contactless SMART cards, RFID cards and labels, security and identification documents, healthcare cards, and specialty graphic printing. Teslin sheet prints as easily as paper, but provides the durability of plastic - exhibiting a broad thermal flexibility range, and resisting tearing, abrasion, and chemical attack. It provides tamper-resistant / tamper-evident adhesive bonds, electrostatic dissipation, prolonged contactless IC card service life, digital print capability, and consistent high-quality print image. In high-security applications, customer-specific covert and forensic security features can be incorporated into the Teslin sheet during production making them less susceptible to counterfeiting or alteration.

Copprint

Copprint is an early stage Israeli company that has developed an ink based on copper nanoparticles. Their ink can achieve around 25% of bulk conductivity whilst only requiring a short 2-second anneal using a simple oven system at 125-250C. The ink recently (late 2019) became commercially available, and they have just finished upgrading their production capability to produced 1 tonne/month.
