These Tours are for BOTH co-located events.
The company visits operate on a first come, first served basis. These tours are extremely popular so please register early to guarantee your place.
Companies hosting the tour retain the right to decline someone from attending. This is beyond the control of IDTechEx and in this case you will be informed of this as quickly as possible.

Please note that  ONLY ONE  tour per day can be booked. These tours will run over the lunch period between masterclass sessions. If you are booked on the afternoon masterclass session, you will be back in time for your class

The Hong Kong RFID Centre (SCIC)

In February 2007, the Supply Chain Innovation Centre (SCIC) was established as a joint initiative between GS1 Hong Kong and the Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation (HKSTP) to bring supply chain management professionals and technology together to enable enterprises in Hong Kong and the Pearl River Delta to become more responsive to market needs and boost operational efficiencies. Founded by 10 RFID pioneering companies worldwide, SCIC had received over 3,500 visitors from local communities and over 20 countries ever since its establishment.

Building on the success of the SCIC, the Innovation and Technology Commission, HKSAR Government joined hands with GS1 Hong Kong and the HKSTP to further expand and enhance SCIC into the new Hong Kong RFID Centre (SCIC) with the mission to making it an outstanding RFID showcasing centre in the Asia Pacific region in the near future. Hong Kong RFID Centre (SCIC) was officially launched on 9 October 2008 at the Hong Kong Science Park.
