In this talk I will give an overview of our main considerations for choosing and deploying wearable technologies in clinical trials. As an example I will explain how we went about introducing a specific wearable in some of our ongoing studies, and the impact that this is expected to make in assessing treatment efficacy.
Speaker Biography (Matthew Heasley)
Matthew Heasley currently works on the implementation of patient centric sensing technologies in clinical studies for GSK. Prior to this role Matthew worked on a wide variety of research projects in GSK including novel methods for drug delivery, bioelectronics, diagnostics and novel instrumentation.
Matthew received a MEng in electronic engineering from the University of Cambridge.
