LeydenJar Technologies B.V. is a spin out venture from energy research center ECN in the Netherlands. Our focus is to bring to
market a unique pure silicon anode for use in Li-ion battery cells. The anode can store 10x more energy compared with existing graphite
anodes due to its pure silicon nature. This leads to an increased energy density of battery cells with up to 50%. A 50% increase is huge
compared with global annual improvement of 3%-5% in the applications of consumer electronics, wearables, health tech, electric vehicles and stationary energy storage.
