Fibre reinforced composites are well known for their low mass and high performance in a number of industries. Especially when it comes to meeting targets of energy efficiency and durability composites show significant benefits, hence a lot of attention in industries like aviation, automotive, (wind)energy and marine. However, one issue with composites is the complexity to produce these parts. At Fiberneering we have developed a 3D printing process that we use to make the production of these composite parts faster, better and in many cases more cost effective as well.
In our presentation we will show the process we developed and some of the products we supplied to our customers. For each of the cases we will show some of the particular benefits, like structural optimisation, functional integration and the significant weight benefits we achieve.
Jasper is the founder of Fiberneering and currently CEO of the company. He has studied aerospace engineering at the TU Delft after which he started working for DSM composite Resins. In 2008 he moved to Perth in Australia to work for ICC and Technip and here he also got an MBA from Curtin University.
Fiberneering is based in Zwolle, the Netherlands. Employing people from a variety of engineering backgrounds like aerospace, marine, civil and mechanical we are perfectly suited to help our clients with a broad range of knowledge when it comes to composite product design.
4 years ago we started the development of a printing process dedicated for composite materials production. This process is now our main focus and is used in a number of industries; marine, mobility and human technologies. We design, engineer and produce composite parts for our customers.
