Speaker Biography (John Belot)

Dr. John Belot holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Carnegie Mellon University and a B.S. from Wake Forest University. He completed a Postdoctoral Fellowship and served as a Research Assistant Professor in Materials Science and Engineering at Northwestern University.
For eight years, he worked at the University of Nebraska, moving from Assistant to Associate Professor. In 2007, Dr. Belot returned to Carnegie Mellon University to work as a visiting professor.
Dr. Belot is cofounder of Liquid X Printed Metals, Inc. and is currently serving as the Chief Scientist. He is responsible for ideas and for overseeing all laboratory activities.
