Speaker Biography (Uwe Katzer)
Uwe Katzer, Ph.D., is manager at Procter & Gamble. He has a Masters degree (Dipl.-Ing.) in Solid State Electronics from the Technical University of Ilmenau and completed his Ph.D. (Dr.-Ing.) in Electronics on high voltage integrated circuit and technology development in 1996 on the same university. In 1995 he joined Braun GmbH (a subsidiary of Gillette) as a Project Manager in Analog Electronics, ASIC and Electronic System Design. Since 2005 he is head of the R&D Global Devices section at P&G. In summary, Uwe has over 10 years experience in development and characterization of semiconductor devices and over 15 years experience in full custom ASIC & electronic system design.
