The latest research from the Electrochemical Science & Engineering group at Imperial College London is presented. Experiments and modelling have been used to develop the knowledge and tools that design engineers need to optimise their system for a given application, including cell design, hybridisation, thermal management, and pack design.

講演者の経歴 (Gregory J. Offer)

Dr Gregory Offer manages a group of ~20 researchers and PhD students. Greg's group work at the interface between the science and engineering of electrochemical devices. His research portfolio focuses on understanding the limits of operation, degradation mechanisms and failure modes of batteries, supercapacitors and fuel cells in real world applications, and the impacts and consequences on system design, integration and control. Greg has published 49 peer reviewed journal papers, 8 patents and 5 technical reports. Greg also has experience working outside academia as a management consultant in 2002-2003 and a government advisor in 2009-2010.
