Speaker Biography (Thomas Loeher)

Thomas Loeher studied physics at University Göttingen and Technical University Berlin, he received the diploma in surface physics in 1992. In 1995 he was awarded Ph.D. from Freie Universität Berlin. From 1996 to 1999 he held a post-doc position at the University of Tokyo. He joined TU Berlin/Fraunhofer IZM in 2002. His activities focus around embedding technologies in flexible and rigid printed circuit boards (EU Project SHIFT, TIPS) and development of stretchable electronic systems (EU Project STELLA and PLACE.it)
