Mr. Romero has over 20 years of systems engineering and product management experience in the telecommunications and RTLS industries. Mr. Romero is responsible for product development and strategy for Zebra's Dart UWB product line. Mr. Romero was a Systems Engineer responsible for the design and deployment of Zebra's WhereNet RTLS solutions into the Maritime Terminal market, a product line widely deployed throughout the US Maritime Market. Prior to joining Zebra, Mr. Romero was a Principal Engineer with COMSAT, focusing on mobile satellite telecommunication systems. Mr. Romero started his career with Computer Sciences Corporation, designing packet switched computer networks. Mr. Romero has a Bachelors and Masters of Science degrees in Electrical Engineering, both from the University of Maryland, College Park, and holds four US patents.
