The Critical Enabler For Inclusive, Sustainable Industry 4.0
Estrel Convention Center, Berlin, Germany
11:40 - 12:00
Both existing machine interfaces and startup IoT protocols, are failing to deliver clear and standard definitions of messages and data content, meaning that they only succeed in creating "digital land-fill". By contrast, the new IPC Connected Factory Exchange (CFX) IIoT standard, fully defines data content, meaning that every machine and process aligns to a high common standard of detail, delivering consistent value and opportunity for Industry 4.0 Smart solutions.
In this presentation, we explain the origin, structure and scope of CFX, including how CFX supports all assembly operations, and how easy CFX adoption is thanks to readily available open-source software development kits (SDKs) available in several languages, all of which are available without license. We also look into the many areas of benefits that CFX brings to the entire business value chain.
CFX is specifically designed, like no other technology, to enable Smart Industry 4.0 interoperable solutions, from multiple vendors and solution providers, including internally developed solutions, for the smallest to the largest manufacturing companies.
