プレゼンテーション概要

  • Development of Polymer Gel Electrolytes (PGE) to form tough, flexible films with conductivities of 10-3 S/cm.
  • Production of thin-film batteries using a roll-to-roll process at 10m/min
  • Production of cells with PGE thickness less than 0.1 mm and with energy densities approaching 170 Wh/kg.

講演者の経歴 (Alison M Voice)

Alison is a senior lecturer in the School of Physics & Astronomy at the University of Leeds, UK. She has been a member of the Interdisciplinary Research Centre (IRC) in Polymer Science & Technology since its foundation in 1989 and has been involved with Leeds Lithium Power since its incorporation in 2006. Alison has had a strong involvement with the Polymer Gel Electrolytes research at the IRC since 1992 and now leads the academic work in this area.

会社紹介 (Leeds Lithium Power Ltd)

Leeds Lithium Power Ltd logo
A spin-out from The University of Leeds, Leeds Lithium Power Limited has developed polymer gel electrolyte (PGE) technology offering electrolytes with reduced liquid content for safer batteries. We have also developed a roll-to-roll process for the production of thin-film cells suitable for incorporation into a variety of devices, based on an extrusion lamination process.
