路上走行における燃料電池の市場機会:市場規模は2042年までに1,600億ドルに

Hydrogen fuel cells systems are increasingly touted as a key technology for automotive OEMs enabling manufacturers to produce zero-emission vehicles that offer performance close to that of current combustion engine vehicles. Concerns remain around whether pure battery-electric solutions will be able to deliver the necessary duty cycle for those use cases that require significant range, brief downtime, and high operational flexibility, such as long-haul trucks and high milage city buses. Fuel cell systems convert hydrogen fuel to electricity, and this electricity is used to power the vehicle. The greater energy density of fuel cell systems in comparison with li-ion batteries, facilitates a greater range for fuel cell electric vehicles versus pure battery electric vehicles, with a co-benefit of refuelling to full capacity taking minutes, versus potentially hours for BEV even with fast chargers.

In this IDTechEx webinar, Technology Analyst Dr. David Wyatt, shares research from IDTechEx's new report, "Fuel Cell Electric Vehicles 2022-2042". This report delivers an in-depth exploration of the current state of on-road fuel cell vehicle development in the passenger car, light commercial vehicle, truck, and city bus markets, discussing technical and economic aspects of fuel cell vehicle deployment in these different transport applications and provides IDTechEx's independent outlook for the future of fuel cell vehicles out to 2042.

This IDTechEx webinar will give an overview and outlook for the growing FCEV market including:
  • What makes fuel cells an attractive technology pathway
  • An overview of FCEV deployment in passenger cars, LCV, trucks, and buses
  • Challenges facing FCEV deployment
  • An overview of IDTechEx's independent 20-year forecasts for FCEV
