Presentation Summary

There is no question the Internet of Things is already upon us. Due to the nature of the IoT, many end devices are relatively small and portable or movable, and are therefore powered by batteries or energy harvesting - this changes the equation and we need to start talking about the Internet of Moving Things.
Wittra has proven many times that there is a high customer value attached to the concept of "where" in addition to "what" and "how much". Knowing where moveable IoT end devices are located when events happen can help drive compelling new business cases and unlock high-impact customer value.
Apart from an overview and comparison of location technologies for the IoMT, we will showcase a new technology to address the unique challenges presented by Moving Things, and cover several real world customer cases that illustrate the value argument in this arena.

Warwick is an Australian hardware/firmware engineer with three patents to his name. Having started and run several businesses specialising in wireless products, he spent many of his entrepreneurial years developing similar technology to the current Wittra RTLS.
