Leading companies will speak at IDTechEx Sensors USA on November 18-19, 2015 in Santa Clara, CA.

Dr Achintya Bhowmik, VP & GM of Perceptual Computing at Intel leads the development and deployment of interactive computing technologies and products based on natural sensing, intuitive interfaces, immersive applications and user experiences. He will present how the Intel RealSense technology can make machines see, understand and interact like humans.

Honeywell is one of the biggest end users of sensor technologies. Hang Liao PhD, Global Sensors Director, will present an overview of the sensor research at Honeywell.

Remi Lacombe, VP Sales & Marketing at InVisage, will introduce InVisage's QuantumFilm, a technology which uses quantum dots to overcome the limitations of current image sensors.

Other companies speaking at the conference include Valencell, Bosch Sensortec, Cambridge CMOS Sensors, Isorg, Biolinq and Brewer Science.

Located in the heart of the Silicon Valley, this event showcases the most innovative sensor technologies so that attendees can discover all the potential new applications.

"The programme for this year's conference looks very exciting" said Guillaume Chansin, Senior Technology Analyst for IDTechEx Research. "It is essential to recognize that sensors now play a central role in enabling whole new industries, from wearables and augmented reality to smart cities and automated drones."

Hosted by IDTechEx, the leader in market research and events on emerging technologies, this conference will highlight advances in:
  • Micro electro mechanical systems (MEMS)
  • Flexible and large area sensors
  • Wearable sensors
  • Environmental sensors
  • Nanomaterials in sensors

Following the successful format of previous years, IDTechEx Sensors will be co-located with 7 other conferences on relevant topics, such as Wearable Technology, Printed Electronics, Energy Harvesting and the Internet of Things (IoT). With over 200 exhibitors and 3,000 attendees expected under one roof, this is the largest event dedicated to emerging technologies. Attendees will have access to all the co-located conference tracks and the combined exhibition.

The full programme will be available on the event website www.idtechex.com/sensorsUSA.
