The IDTechEx Launchpad is an exciting area in the exhibition that will feature live demonstrations of innovative and emerging products from early stage companies covering:
Ten early-stage companies have been selected for the IDTechEx Launchpad, an exciting initiative that provides them the opportunity to showcase prototypes and demonstrations of their new products.
AlphaSzenszor is the leader in development and manufacturing of carbon nanotube based gas sensor devices. Our sensors offer the highest performance/cost ratio as compared to all other nanometric based sensors, while providing the broadest range of sensitivity to chemical and biological compounds. Low power consumption makes our gas sensors ideal for mobile and consumer products. www.alphaszenszor.com
Astrolabe Analytics is dedicated to accelerating battery innovation. One impediment to battery R&D is outdated data management chores, which cost battery development teams up to a quarter of their time and energy. Astrolabe Analytics helps battery R&D teams across the battery value chain manage and analyze their data with cloud-based workflow tools. Our offering automates data cleaning, data management, analysis and reporting. Our platform improves R&D productivity by 20% and reduces product development cycles by 15%. www.astrolabe-analytics.com
AuSense Technologies, incorporated in 2018, develops connected sensor systems for the healthcare industry, particularly infant and elderly care. Its innovation is focused on making technology "invisible" to the consumer while improving outcomes and quality of lives. Specifically, AuSense's breakthrough patent-pending innovation removes the barrier to consumer adoption of connected wearables by utilizing a user-friendly design in a compact, flexible, and low-cost package.
Add Real Depth to Your Images. Cluster Imaging makes all images better with superior depth map processing using multi-resolution camera clusters. High resolution depth maps are enabling accurate image element isolation and visual space identification. Depth information will enable new frontiers in consumer and industrial markets including Automotive Industry, High End Security and Factory Automation. clusterimage.com
DexMat manufactures high-performance carbon nanotube (CNT) fibers and films using a proprietary solution processing technology. Lightweight, flexible wires and cables made with DexMat materials are up to 90 % lighter, 10 times stronger, and have over 100 times higher flex life than metal wiring. Moreover, conductive CNT fiber/thread can be sewn directly into fabric or clothing, is machine washable, and is capable of picking up electrical signals from the body simply through skin contact. DexMat is seeking to build strong relationships with leading apparel and consumer electronics companies to accelerate the development of DexMat products into wearable electronics and e-textile applications. www.dexmat.com
Magneto Innovations is working to bring printable magnetic field sensors to the market by integrating the sensors into existing and new magnetic sensor applications. We create a magnetic sensing ink based on specially fabricated nanowires. Once printed the magnetic sensors behave as variable resistors that can change up to 14% in a magnetic field from a nearby magnet. Printed magnetic sensors benefits include low cost, no size or shape restrictions, and flexibility. The sensors can be used in many applications across multiple industries. The initial focus is on using printed magnetic sensors for non-contact position sensors and proximity sensors. www.MagnetoInnovations.com
MicroMaker3D have developed a new type of 3D printing technology: Laminated Resin Printing. Laminated Resin Printing is based on photo-lithographic processes used in microfabrication to achieve resolution down to 5 microns, in a high-performance resin system with extreme chemical and thermal resistance. Laminated Resin Printing can print standalone planar microfabricated structures, print on paper, fabric or PCBs, and print miniature 3D devices. For the first time, our new Laminated Resin Printing technology will make rapid prototyping fast and affordable for microfabrication level structures, offering new opportunities to print devices for microsensors, wearable technology, IoT devices, aerospace applications and more. www.micromaker3d.com
Nuriscope was founded in 2015 and is based in Korea. They specialise in glass free 3D display technology in the form of device screens, imaging/video tools and managed services.
Pireta has developed a unique free-form process to add durable, conductive, metallic patterns to textiles without changing the fabric feel or performance. Pireta's technology allows electronic systems to be assembled and interconnected on a wide range of fabrics, enabling a new generation of truly wearable smart garments and e-textiles. www.pireta.co.uk
Soteria Battery Innovation Group Members are dedicated to enabling portable electric power without the risk of fires, no matter the circumstances. Our material architecture eliminates the spark inside a battery that can cause fires. We are different. Our goal is to make these materials available to every battery manufacturer from a broad supply base so every device can have a battery that is virtually impossible to self-ignite. We will ensure these materials are used responsibly by setting world-class safety standards so that device manufacturers and consumers will know they have the safest electric storage, no matter what. www.soteriabig.com
