and other experiences to the design and realization of a 3D printed concrete bridge of 29 meters, placed in Nijmegen in the Netherlands. The bridge is a design that came to life after having worked with concrete as a 3D print material for two and half years. The Department of Waterways and Public Works in the Netherlands became aware of Michiel's ideas and plans and supported his new way of thinking.
Throughout the presentation Michiel will be emphasizing the differences between, what he refers to as, the old world and the new world we are about to enter, due to this new and disruptive way of working.
