Dr. Mauricio Echeverri is a Senior Scientist at Kent Displays Inc. where he is responsible for researching novel eWriter technologies and the development of innovative products. Dr. Echeverri uses his chemistry and polymer engineering experience to solve key technical issues and create unique solutions, while mentoring and managing laboratory resources. He came to the US as a chemist from Colombia and received his PhD in Polymer Engineering from the University of Akron, Ohio. In 2012, he started working at KDI participating in the design of formulations and processes to fabricate eWriters from conceptualization to large scale manufacturing of the Boogie Board product line.

Kent Displays' roll to roll production lines are located at our headquarters in Kent, Ohio, U.S.A and mass produce Boogie Board eWriters from rolls of plastic with printed/coated conductor, since 2009. Kent Displays has expertise in research, development, roll to roll manufacturing, and consumer packaged goods design and assembly using the eWriter technology. Kent Displays also commercializes and sells the eWriter technology under its brand Boogie Board in a multitude of global retail markets.
