Our presentation will walk the audience through the three step approach for IoT Security that can be easily implemented, maintained and upgraded to meet the evolving cyber challenges of tomorrow.
An estimated 8.4 billion connected 'things' are deployed across the world today. However, the rise of the IoT exposes a wide range of vulnerabilities that can be exploited by cyber criminals and other malicious actors. The massive explosion in the number and complexity of interconnected heterogeneous IoT devices- in smart homes, smart cities, medical, industrial and logistics alters the cyber threat landscape in unprecedented ways.
IoT devices, as well as the data they generate, must be protected against a wide range of cyber threats. Vulnerable endpoints can be hijacked and even physically disabled, unencrypted or unverified data transmissions can be intercepted, leaked or spoofed. Cybersecurity issues need to be first addressed before we can unleash the complete economic benefits offered by the Internet of Things.
In this presentation, we will explore a number of emerging security challenges, including the risks of compromised IoT devices that execute DDoS attacks against critical services, as well as malicious actors attempting to manipulate the flow of information to and from connected devices. Our presentation will conclude with the detailed description of a turnkey security solution that can be easily implemented, maintained and upgraded to meet the evolving cyber challenges of tomorrow.
