Mr. Immel's fascination with additive manufacturing began over 25 years ago when, as a young mechanical designer, he helped test the first generation of rapid prototyping systems at Digital. Since then he has worked on the cutting edge of 3D technologies in product, partner and business management roles with companies including Autodesk, Dassault Solidworks, Bentley Systems, Nvidia, 3D Systems and ultimately Materialise. At Materialise, Steve combines his CAD and 3D printing experience to develop business and technology relationships in the Americas. He is passionate about the positive impact additive manufacturing will continue to have on design innovation and society.
