Speaker Biography (Maria Gorlatova)

Maria Gorlatova is a PhD Candidate in the Columbia University Electrical Engineering Department. Her research interests are in the area of networking ultra-low-power wireless devices. Maria received her B.S. and M.S. degrees from the University of Ottawa, Canada. Prior to joining Columbia?s PhD program Maria worked as a Research Scientist at Defence R&D Canada, and at Telcordia Technologies. Maria is a recipient of the Canadian Graduate Scholar (CGS) NSERC Fellowship and is a Columbia University Presidential Fellow.
