Speaker Biography (John Knights)
John Knights is Senior Director of PARC's commercial business development activities, including strategic research and co-development engagements with industry partners. He has broad operational experience in product development, marketing, and manufacturing, along with expertise in intellectual property issues.
Dr. Knights obtained a Ph.D. in solid state Physics from the Cavendish Laboratory at the University of Cambridge, U.K. He has authored over 50 technical publications and holds 8 U.S. Patents.

John Heitzinger has broad experience in technical fields related to electronics manufacturing and has worked with many of the leading companies in the field. During his career John has held research and development, technical management, customer service and product leadership positions. He has worked closely with organizations in Asia, Europe and North America taking new products and processes from concept to high volume manufacturing.
John's education includes B.S. degrees in chemistry and physics and a Ph.D. in chemistry.

Soligie utilizes high speed, roll-to-roll manufacturing to produce printed electronics with a variety of conductive, resistive and proprietary materials on flexible substrates such as PET, paper and foil. Soligie offers a full range of services including: concept design, circuit design, design for manufacturability and final volume production. We combine emergent materials with proprietary manufacturing processes and produce electrical components such as memory, sensors, displays and batteries for integration onto thin, flexible substrates.
