NextFlex®, America's Flexible Hybrid Electronics Manufacturing Institute, is a leading force in the Manufacturing USA network. It is a consortium of companies, academic institutions, non-profits, and state, local, and federal governments with a shared goal of advancing U.S. manufacturing of FHE. Since its formation in 2015, NextFlex's elite team of thought leaders, educators, problem solvers, and manufacturers have come together to collectively facilitate innovation, narrow the manufacturing workforce gap, and promote sustainable manufacturing ecosystems.

NextFlex's Technology Hub capabilities enable the fabrication of fully integrated flexible hybrid electronic devices and systems that utilize advanced manufacturing processes and tools to transform flexible substrates, electrical materials, and thinned semiconductor devices into thin, lightweight electronics that can bend, flex, and stretch.

You will tour Kateeva's Global Headquarters in Newark. The multi-building campus combines business operations, as well as development and manufacturing operations in one location. The tour begins with a brief overview of Kateeva and its inkjet printing manufacturing equipment solution. From there, visitors will view four core components of Kateeva's operations, outlined below. They'll leave with a good snapshot of the business of innovating and building a complex manufacturing equipment solution for OLED mass-production.

Tour highlights

• Process Lab. A mini-fab with state-of-the-art tools that are used to create finished devices in which the charge transport and emitting layers are deposited by inkjet printing.
• Ink Lab . Kateeva formulates inks for OLED thin film encapsulation and future additional applications at its HQ. A brief description of Kateeva's capabilities will be described.
• Engineering Lab. This is where Kateeva's large-size inkjet printing system development is done. A description of the systems currently in the lab will be provided.
• Manufacturing Floor . A basic description of the manufacturing tools will be given, and capabilities highlighted
