Delegates will only be able to visit either Levant Power or MIT on Monday 14 November.

IDTechEx will host visits to local organizations developing or implementing Energy Harvesting or Wireless Sensing & Locating technologies.

Places at the tour are limited, please email Corinne Jennings at c.jennings@idtechex.com to secure your place. Priority on the tours is given to attendees at the masterclass sessions.

    Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT)

    Come tour the historic Rohsenow Kendall Heat Transfer Lab, one of the oldest labs at MIT. Renovated in the summer of 2010, the lab now features some of the newest facilities in the Mechanical Engineering department. On the tour, you will learn about cutting edge research in the field of heat transfer, including thermoelectric solid-state heat-to-electricity conversion, near-field thermal radiation, solar-thermal systems design, laser-based picosecond thermometry, and desalination.
