Energy storage systems utilizing lithium ion batteries rely on the performance and cost advances of the technology to make them viable. Electrovaya Litarion have a unique solution through technological innovations that allow for significantly increased cycle life, higher level of safety and green production, while reducing the cost per cycle. Safety in our products is driven by our SEPARION ® product, the only all-ceramic separator on the market that allows for better performance under high temperatures and other standard cell safety tests, as well as pushing the cycle life of our technology well beyond our compeittors. Furthermore, our proprietary NMP-free coating process, not only eliminates the need for toxic chemicals but also reduces the cost of production for Li-ion cells. This presentation will cover these technologies and the company's plans to leverage its 500MWh+ manufacturing capacity in Germany to become a major player in the energy storage space.

At Electrovaya, Kunal holds the position of Director of Business Development. In this role, Kunal works closely with customers in the stationary and motive markets for Electrovaya′s Lithium Ion battery solutions at a global level. Kunal is also leading marketing efforts for the company. Prior to joining Electrovaya, Kunal was working in Germany in the renewable energy sector. He worked with a prominent market research and consulting firm in the solar energy sector, as well as in financing of renewable energy projects in developing regions. Kunal holds a degree in Electrical Engineering and an MBA, both from the University of Toronto.
