In recent years, interdisciplinary studies have been the mainstream in research discourses and practices. Depending on the degree on integration, the combination of electronics and textiles can be divided into three categories: wearable electronics, textronics and fibertronics. This work discussed about development of cotton wrapped nichrome yarn, copper core conductive yarn, optical core conductive yarn POF of different diameters to produce, nichrome fabric, copper core conductive fabric, optical core conductive fabric and teleintimation fabric. The yarn and the fabrics were tested using a dedicated test rig developed for this research work. This paper develops and demonstrates technologies useful for implementing a manageable cost effective systems approach to monitoring the medical condition of personnel by way of an instrumented uniform hereafter referred to as Teleintimation Garment (TG). The TG consists of a form fitting garment which contains and interconnects sensing elements and device to an electronics pack containing a processor and transmitter. The TG prototype requires fiber, textile, garment and sensor development. The TG consists of a mesh of electrically and optically conductive fibers integrated into the normal structure of fibers and yarns selected for comfort and durability. A suite of Teleintimation garment compatible embedded biological and physical sensors are then integrated into the TG. The initial TG sensor suite is selected to improve triage for combat causalities. This work provides the platform for the methodology of developing conductive yarns and fabric for the wearable electronics product development to progress on the issue of user acceptability
