o It is shown in what ways SUSI can assist in the cooperation of developers, how exisiting systems can be extended, new solutions be implemented and users of intuitive human-machine interfaces benefit. Furthermore we provide an insight into the historical origin of the software and an overview of application examples.
As CTO at webvariants Stephan is driving the development of innovative hardware-software solutions forward together with his team. Using the more than 5 years of project experience in implementing intuitive user interfaces for expert system as well as integration and abstraction of systems and system components to develop first hardware devices for production in the context of webvariants. In addition, the expansion of the partner network, the contentual orientation and consulting are more tasks and goals. Next to webvariants he develops concepts, systems and products in context of IoT and Industry 4.0 and is always looking for new exciting tasks to absorb impulses and learn.
Started in 2008 as a technical service provider for web projects webvariants quickly evolved to a reliable partner for the implementation of challenging web-based applications, platforms and games. 5 years ago, this experience had been applied in the development of applications for the installation of industrial expert systems for the first time and marked the companies entry into the world of the Internet of Things. In other projects we helped our customers to vastly simplify the commissioning and maintenance of their products and applications and minimized costs incurred by providing digital installation and operating manuals. Meanwhile the company is producing its own hardware devices by using its extensive partner network and provides the open source project "SUSI" for speeding up the implementation of prototypes and interoperable applications.
