Designed for those interested in emerging technologies within the field of brain-computer-interfaces (BCIs), this class will review both invasive and non-invasive approaches towards melding man with machine. Regarding the devices specifically, the course will focus on implantable neural probes and related neurophysiology equipment (amplifiers, data acquisition systems, software), in addition to EEG electrodes commonly placed on the scalp surface for non-invasive measurement of brain activity.
