To achieve a more connected world, our research group is dedicated to develope advanced materials and scalable additive printing processes to make physical contacts for harsh environments connectivity, printed antennas on 2D and 3D surfaces for wireless connectivity, as well as printed sensors for intelligent connectivity. Examples of printed sensors will be discussed in details.
Dr. Yiliang Wu is a Principal Scientist leading the Printed Electronics group at Corporate Technology, TE Connectivity. His research interests are in advanced electronic materials and additive printing processes for printed electronics especially for connectivity applications. Before joining TE, Dr. Wu was a Principal Scientist at Xerox Research Centre of Canada, where he led the research & development of printable electronic materials including organic semiconductors and metal nanoparticle inks. Yiliang obtained his Ph.D. in polymer science from Tokyo Institute of Technology (Japan) and did postdoctoral research at Queen's University (Canada). He has published over 100 peer-reviewed papers and holds more than 190 US patents.
