The new generation of Industrial IOT will transform the Industrial Age to the Information Age by exploiting opportunities and benefits offered by Information Age technology and techniques. A key enabler for Industrial IOT in the transportation industry is sensors and data procured from them. Structural Health Monitoring (SHM) systems have the potential to provide real-time and historical sensor based data on the integrity of any transportation platform. This presentation will provide an overview of current SHM systems provided by Acellent for use in various transportation platforms. Background on the technology and examples of usage will be provided.
