Speaker Biography (Sameh Dardona)
Sameh received his Ph.D. degree from The Georgia Institute of Technology, in Applied Physics in 2006.
Since 2006, he has been with the United Technologies Research Center (UTRC), East Hartford, CT. He is currently an associate director for research and innovation at UTRC, leading the printed electronics program. He is responsible for developing printed functional materials and devices for the aerospace and building industries applications. His research interests include electronics additive manufacturing, advanced and embedded sensors, Physics based device modeling and manufacturing of flexible electronics.
Dr. Dardona has been recognized with two UTRC Outstanding Achievement Awards, as well as numerous Great Job and Extra Effort Awards. He publish shed numerous peer reviewed scientific articles and currently holds more than 45 U. S. patents/patent applications.
