Nathalie's mission is to promote EV globalization by designing highly efficient and modular battery system at an affordable price. SF Motors strives to deliver attractive EVs at an attractive price by leveraging their global manufacturing capability. SF Motors was awarded 1 of the 11 EV licenses, making SF Motors the only pure EV company that can independently build and sell EVs and ePowertrain components in the world's largest markets (US & China). The company has secured its global manufacturing footprint with three (3) manufacturing facilities:

1) USA EV manufacturing + battery assembly plant in Mishawaka, Indiana with an annual capacity of 50,000 vehicles

2) China EV manufacturing + battery assembly plant in Chongqing, China with an annual capacity of 100,000 vehicles

3) China ePowertrain component factory (no EV assembly) in Chongqing, China with an annual capacity of greater than 200,000 units

Nathalie Capati is a Senior Manager of Battery Systems at SF Motors.

Nathalie was one of the first 5 members to join the SF Motors (SFM) team and helped build the ePowertrain division. She continues to lead a global team (US & China) of more than 45 engineers and associates. She is the primary inventor for 9 international patents encompassing the design of a highly modular battery system. This system is designed such that it can be easily reconfigured to achieve the varying electrical performance and packaging constraints of different EV platforms which enables a company to diversify its product portfolio and reach a broader market. This design also lowers battery pack production and manufacturing costs by decreasing part count, simplifying assembly processes, and increasing yield.

SFM is using Nathalie's battery pack design to bring to market three different EVs. SF Motors EVs (SF3, SF5, SF7) and individual ePowertrain components (including battery packs) will go into production late 2019, planning for 150,000 units sold annually.
