The FAO estimates that by 2050 population growth of 35% to over 9 billion people will require food production to grow by a staggering 70%. This forecast has created a huge market opportunity for the Internet of Things to reset our perception of agriculture and the way we farm the land, and introduce us to the Internet of Cows.
Andrew Frame is a Director of Business Development within the Arm IoT Device IP Line of Business, and is responsible for Silicon Partner, Cloud, ISV, and OEM engagement. Andrew's previous roles within Arm include Cortex-M Product Management, Worldwide Business Development Manager and Development Tools Product Manager. Prior to joining Arm in 1995 he was an Embedded Software Engineer at GEC Plessey Telecommunications. Andrew holds a BSc (Hons) in Computer Studies from Sheffield Hallam University.
