Functional inks and printed electronics solutions are offered by Henkel to enable production of smart sensors in an easy and economically attractive way. These sensors can be integrated into existing products in an uncomplicated way, what enables the consumer to monitor whatever function, f.e. moisture, heat, ECG etc. unobtrusively.
After receiving her PhD from the Eindhoven University of Technology in 2010 in the field of polymers for medical applications, Inge performed 2 years of applied research at the same university focussing on adhesives from renewable resources, before joining Henkel Electronic Materials in 2012. During the first 4 years she worked on the development of new conductive adhesives and inks for electronic applications. She is the Product Development Manager for the inks and coatings product line, overseeing all new developments for this product line, wherein wearable sensors and flexible electronics are focus areas.
