Merry Smith is a Senior Scientist/Product Manager at C2Sense. She received her doctorate in chemistry at Wesleyan University in 2014, where she worked in Prof. Brian Northrop's laboratory. Before C2Sense, she served as a postdoctoral scholar at Dartmouth College under the supervision of Prof. Katherine Mirica. In her research career, she has published 12 peer-reviewed papers focused on experimental and theoretical studies of carbon-rich nanomaterials and their application as chemical sensors. She is co-inventor on 1 patent in the field of gas sensing.
