For ten years the 3D laboratory at the Technical University of Berlin has been developing applications in the fields of 3D scan, 3D print and 3D immersive (interactive) projection. The applications originate in many application fields like; mathematics and natural sciences, engineering sciences, medicine and medical technologies, geo sciences, archaeology, palaeontology, architecture, arts and design, museums etc. The 3D laboratory cooperates with research and other public institutions such as museums, as well as small and medium sized companies. Last but not least the laboratory contributes to the university teaching and provides knowledge transfer to its cooperation partners.
Based in Ottawa, Canada, 3Dponics Inc. is a fresh, new tech lab that's uniting two exciting worlds: 3D printing and hydroponics. Adphos Digital Printing GmbH
adphosNIR® is one of the fastest growing thermal processing technologies for ink jet printing and coatings application technologies particularly for water based applications. Adphos have pioneered the technology and enhanced its output to provide a very high power density into the ink or coating film leaving the paper and plastic substrate largely unaffected by this energy. The high power density found at this particular wave length drives out the water (or solvent) and if necessary also sintered or cured very rapidly ensuring that the print or coating is dry within a very small foot print.
