Billions of dollars of product are lost each year due to goods not being kept at recommended temperatures during transit. Technology advancements enable the tracking of temperature and vibration/shock easier and more affordable, leveraging existing RFID Track-and-Trace infrastructure. This presentation will discuss tags that continue to advance the faster handling of material with tracking and sensing.
Douglas joined ON Semiconductor in February 2017 as Product Marketing Manager. Previously was the Worldwide Director of Industrial Printing/RFID for Ricoh which acquired IBM's Printing System Division in 2007. As part of the transition, Doug retired after 31 years of service with IBM after holding management roles in Technical Support and Field Systems Engineering. Currently resides in Scottsdale, AZ. Doug enjoys tennis and hiking.
