Dr. Nima Moghimian is a materials scientist and engineer with more than 10 years of experience in development of advanced materials for everyday use. He specializes in commercialization of graphene for improving the physical and chemical properties of polymers and composite materials.

 

Nima received his master's degree in Nanoscience and Nanotechnology from University of Barcelona and PhD in Mechanical Engineering from University of Victoria in British Columbia, Canada. Prior to joining NanoXplore, he worked as an international researcher in several countries including Spain, Germany and Canada, focusing on several nanomaterials related projects mainly for transportation applications. Nima has published more than 30 journal and conference publications in the field of advanced nanomaterials and graphene.

 

Nima joined NanoXplore when the company was a start-up with less than 10 employees. Today NanoXplore has become a graphene market leader with more than 400 employees in Canada and Europe. Dr. Moghimian is currently the Global Director of Research and Development at NanoXplore and the head of corporate's product development activities.
