How Yinlong Energy Company grew from obscurity in 2010 to become one of the largest EV bus manufacturers in China and worldwide. We will discuss the Chinese EV bus market, battery technologies Yinlong leveraged to create growth and New Product Development being made to address currently unmet market demands.
Mr. Albert Zou is an international business executive, holding dual citizenship in China and Canada; and residence in Zhuhai and San Jose. He currently serves as CEO and President of two Yinlong-owned, USA-based battery innovators: Altairnano, Inc. (LTO) and EoCell (nano-silicon). His previous positions include CEO of YuView Holdings, VP for Asian Coast Development and Executive Director of SI-TECH Information Technology, amongst others. Mr. Zou graduated from the University of Beijing and earned an MS from the Graduate School of China Academy of Posts & Telecommunications; and MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario, Canada.
Yinlong Energy Company (YLE) has become one of China's largest EV Bus Manufacturers, after having only been founded in 2008. By 2014, YLE sold a few hundred buses. Since then, they have grown to deliver nearly 30,000 buses, with two-thirds leveraging rapid-charge LTO technology. YLE is vertically integrated and focused on EV Buses, Charging Systems, Battery Material, Cell & System Production and continuous R&D. YLE's newest acquisition is in EoCell, a Silicon-Valley startup and nano-Silicon material and cell innovator. YLE is scaling-up the manufacture of this new EoCell material and cells to address long-range EV Bus and automotive requirements worldwide.
