Elkem Silicones is a vertically integrated global silicone supplier with local R&D and manufacturing in York, SC. Elkem Silicones will present proven silicone solutions in EV thermal management protecting over 300K electric vehicles by end of 2019. Case studies include EV thermal management in battery pack applications using silicone foams and thermally conductive solutions, as well as sealing and gasketing solutions and robust materials for high voltage cables that can withstand broad operating temperatures.
Speaker Biography
Chris Helt is a Staff Scientist for Elkem Silicones focusing on electronics, electric vehicle and engineering applications in the Bay Area with over 15 years of technical expertise in specialty silicone formulations, testing and processing. He received his Bachelors of Science degree in Biochemistry from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo.
