As Electric Vehicles begin to gain a lot of momentum globally, there is a continued push towards increasing energy density and power density. Crucial to EV adoption and success are Lithium Ion batteries. As densities increase, OEMs and tiers are confronted with the need to dissipate heat from battery packs for optimal performance. New technology to help with thermal management will be presented. The talk will also emphasize the need for OEMs to include materials suppliers early on in the design process to help optimize their solutions and reduce overall cost.
Prasanna Srinivasan is Manager, Business Development & Marketing at LORD Corporation, with a focus on growing the company's thermal management business. Prior to joining LORD Corporation, Srinivasan served as global segment leader, among other positions, at DuPont Electronics and a Senior Semiconductor Professional at IBM. He has a Master of Business Administration in Marketing and Strategy from Duke University, a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from North Carolina State University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from Madras University.
