16:00 - 16:25 "Printed electronics and secure tags: the key to affordable RFID privacy and security in item-level tagging"

• Item-level tagging with RFID tags is currently hindered by cost, privacy and security issues.
• Our patent-protected Privacy and security Ensuring Affordable RFID System (PEARS) allows the use of secure passive tags in all item-level applications. These tags are particularly good at anti-counterfeiting and security applications; and also protect consumer privacy without the need for deactivation at the point of sale.
• Our secure passive tags are very simple and suitable for printing with Printed Electronics. The market for these tags is enormous and we are looking for partners to develop them and make the most of the market opportunity.
