Speaker Biography (Janos Veres)

Janos Veres received his MSc from the Faculty of Electrophysics at Lviv Technical University, USSR in 1990 and earned his PhD from Imperial College, London on electronic transport in disordered materials in 1994. From 1995 he spent three years at Gestetner Byfleet, UK as a Development Physicist in R&D and manufacturing of inorganic and organic photoconductors. Between 1998 and 2006 he worked at Avecia, subsequently Merck on the development of novel xerographic and organic electronic materials. As a Business Research Associate he was responsible for several application projects in Organic Electronics, mainly relating to robust, printable organic semiconductors and dielectrics. In 2006 he joined Eastman Kodak as Program Manager of Printed Electronics.
