China's Electric Vehicle Policies: A Preliminary Analysis (Electric Vehicles Land, Sea & Air USA 2012)

Dr. WANG Jin is an associate professor of sociology and political science at Sun Yat-Sen University in Guangzhou, China. He received his PhD in sociology from the University of Iowa. In recent years, he has been the chief Chinese collaborator in several international research projects that analyze sustainable development policies from a cross-national perspective, including energy policies, electric mobility policies, etc. in China, Europe, Africa, and Brazil.

Sun Yat-Sen University was founded by Dr. Sun Yat-Sen, the leader of the republican revolution in 1911 and the founding father of modern China. It is one of the earliest modern universities in China and one of the best national elite universities in China today. It stands out from its peers as one of the most open-minded, free, and most westernized in style.
